Return & Refund Policy

At Chokaico Chocolate, we take immense pride in crafting high-quality, bean-to-bar chocolate. Because our products are perishable, we do not accept returns. However, we stand behind the quality of our chocolates and want you to be absolutely delighted with your purchase.
If your order does not meet your expectations, please read our policies below and contact us at fernando @ chokaico . com within 2 days of delivery.

1. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your chocolate arrives damaged (beyond normal transit wear) or if we shipped the wrong item, please take a photo of the item and the packaging. Email us at fernando @ chokaico . com with your order number and the photo within 48 hours of receipt. We will gladly send a replacement or issue a full refund.

2. Melting Policy (No-Melt Guarantee)
Chocolate is sensitive to heat. We take great care to insulate and protect your chocolate, especially during warmer months.
  • Warm Weather Shipping: From April to October, we require Flat Rate, 2-Day shipping, and the purchase of ice packs for all orders to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
  • Damaged by Heat: If your chocolate arrives melted despite our precautions, please contact us within 24 hours with photos.
  • Note: We cannot be held responsible for packages that are left in sunny mailboxes or on warm porches for extended periods. Please track your package and retrieve it promptly.

3. Change of Mind/Unenjoyed Flavor
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges if you did not enjoy the flavor, texture, or percentage of a particular bar. Bean-to-bar chocolate is an artisanal product with unique flavor profiles. We recommend trying our "Discovery Pack" if you are new to our brand.

4. Incorrect Shipping Address
We are not responsible for orders that are returned or lost due to an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address provided by the customer at checkout. Please double-check your shipping information.

5. Returns
Because our products are consumable, we do not accept physical returns of chocolate bars. Please do not send your purchase back to our warehouse.

6. Refunds
Once a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
